ORHS Life Fitness 1


The Life Fitness 1 course stresses fitness and the development of individual skills in various team sports and individual sport activities.  This curriculum includes

  • Fitness Components and Training Principles
  • Aquatics
  • Combatives
  • Dance and Rhythms
  • Individual Games & Sports

Written assignments and assessment are included in the curriculum.  Standardized physical fitness tests are used to assess personal fitness.

To participate in Life Fitness 1, all students must dress appropriately for each of their activities.

Successful completion of two years and 20 units of credit are graduation requirements.  Life Fitness 1 is a required course for all freshmen students and must be completed as a prerequisite for enrollment in Life Fitness 2.
